Using the ripple works fine for intermediate load times but for longer running processes it would be more useful to use more of a logging messaging system where we can see the steps being executed.

One potential spot for this is when creating weather predictors, would be a good place to first implement.

Also allowing a user to kill whatever process is running would improve user experience.
