The bug is still present for anything using c-ares. It’s just not as important now that curl is not using it by default. |

This change broke c-ares, because it was updated to version 1.34.6 in #472260. The patch that this PR adds (c-ares/c-ares@0fbeb87) is included in version 1.34.6. Revert PR at #474713 |
