Unmaintained upstream since 2017. GnuPG has a maintained version of this now.

GnuPG has a maintained version of this now.

You mentioned that that is just in the gpgme package, right?

Currently, yes. (On x86_64-linux, the path is /nix/store/15spfkzypaifiql0y7afppgcaxqvdrpd-gpgme-1.24.3/lib/libgpgmepp.so.) They may or may have not made some changes that may make it a non-drop-in replacement, but it's based on the same code.

The reason for the wording in the alias is because if #451898 is merged, it will no longer be bundled with gpgme, but rather broken out into https://dev.gnupg.org/source/gpgmepp/ (which is currently unpackaged).

The reason for the wording in the alias is because if #451898 is merged, it will no longer be bundled with gpgme, but rather broken out into https://dev.gnupg.org/source/gpgmepp/ (which is currently unpackaged).

That PR now contains a commit packaging gpgmepp.
