Cherry-picked to staging-next for testing, built passthru.tests, ffmpeg_5 & ffmpeg_6 on macos 12 x86_64 & nixos x86_64. Built pkgsStatic, pkgsCross.aarch64-multiplatform, pkgsi686Linux & pkgsLLVM variants. Built on aarch64-linux.
