Summary

Audit and update the gpu-operator chart pin in recipes/registry.yaml to the current stable upstream release.

Context

Carved out from #698 (broader component-version audit). All other components in that audit have been updated; only gpu-operator remains.

Current pin: v25.10.1 (chart gpu-operator-v25.10.1).

Definition of done

• Compare the current pin against the latest stable upstream release of NVIDIA gpu-operator.
• If a newer version is selected, update recipes/registry.yaml, regenerate docs/user/container-images.md (make bom-docs), and justify the bump in the PR description.
• If the current pin is intentionally held back, document the reason inline in recipes/registry.yaml.
• make qualify passes locally.
• At least one full GPU CI run (H100 nvkind) passes against the updated bundle.

Out of scope

• Other components in the audit (handled in chore(recipes): check and update runtime component versions across all recipes #698 and its predecessors).
