Discussed with @Philip-NLnetLabs, will merge as the same multi-threaded sorting is already used by other code that we have. I added a note about the CPU impact it causes. |

Decreases sorting time for an old copy of the
nlzone from 29 seconds on my machine to 5 seconds.
