I had mentioned custom protocol handler in #420 towards the end of the thread, even though it was unrelated. I am creating this as a seperate feature request. It should be fairly easy to create a custom protocol handler xrmtoolbox:// with "tool" and "connection" as args that will handled by the base. Any further args should be passed off to the actual tool. Eg. Webresource manager could have "solution" as arg, FXB could have "fetchxml" as an arg.

I tried out the example from https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa767914(v=vs.85).aspx and it seems quite easy. Embedding custom URLs in webpages that directly open XRMToolBox will all the right params is the practical use. Is this something that will be useful? Please comment.
