Is there any possibillity to check the translation in action, e.g if I could run the software in test mode, prior to publishing it? I probably could fix some gender related issues which I cannot detect in the text file itself.

I've integrated bulgarian into my prerelease of 3.0 . You can test it there. Necessary steps to test it are:
