Get list of mods where this user is part of the team
Parse this mods array. Not sure what this mod object array actually contains or from where it is read from.
3a) List all version of each mod id with this call: json.dumps(render_mod_list([mod], private=True), separators=(',',':')), save the result to a cache file and add to repo array
3b) If this was done previously, get them from the cache file here -> os.path.join(app.config['FILESTORAGE'], 'cache', 'mod%s.json' % mod.id) <- How often is this cache cleared btw?

you know what i think? the cache file is never cleared when you go from private to public (editado)

I would add code to delete this file "os.path.join(app.config['FILESTORAGE'], 'cache', 'mod%s.json' % mod.id)" after line 478 on mod py(do it is runs before announce update). and then clear the whole cache folder where those jsons are from the server...always with a backup.
