Done. It seem to be more common to have the * on the right, so should we update .clang-format to have PointerAlignment: Right?

I think we don't have a .clang-format for perfparser at all - does Qt nowadays have one we could steal?

Oh, I was using the one from hotspot (normally checked out in a parent directory, so clang-format would find it). I guess we could make a copy here, or maybe just update the one in hotspot?

Mapping symbols are used on arm, aarch64 and some other architectures to mark code and data. They are not relevant to hotspot so exclude them from the symbol table. Without this I was sometimes seeing mapping symbols appear in flame graphs on aarch64.

Mapping symbols are used on arm, aarch64 and some other architectures to mark code and data. They are not relevant to hotspot so exclude them from the symbol table. Without this I was sometimes seeing mapping symbols appear in flame graphs on aarch64.
