Per request of @climbfuji, this issue requests an update of MAPL in spack-stack to v2.53.0.

MAPL v2.53.0 fixes an issue seen by UFS when using MAPL+GOCART with OpenMP. There is a PR into mainline spack for this update:

spack/spack#48712

I'm not sure if there are different build options needed now? @AlexanderRichert-NOAA or @DusanJovic-NOAA might know more.

NOTE: This might be related to #1168
