Installation and Setup

To run the EMR system locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone [email protected]:HukumaBob/emr.git
  1. Install dependencies:

Backend dependencies

cd backend
pip install -r requirements.txt

Frontend dependencies

(in new terminal)

cd frontend
npm install
  1. Database Setup:

    • Create a PostgreSQL database for the project.
    • Update the database configuration in the backend settings file (backend/settings.py) to connect to your database.
  2. Run Migrations:

cd backend
python manage.py migrate
  1. Start the Development Servers:
cd backend
python manage.py runserver
cd frontend
npm start
  1. Access the EMR system:

Open your web browser and visit http://localhost:3000/ to access the EMR system.
