Inspiration ✨

Many Students after graduating from school don't know about the Computer Science field and they get misguided easily so we have created a platform DevStation where we are providing beginner-friendly documentation and community of different tech satcks where can connect to other members get guidance and mentorship. Our DevStation Community Is Hacker Community where we Believe In Growing and Learning Together to make a World Better. In DevStation We Connect the People how Willing to share their experience and teaching skills with the Folks who willing to learn and expand their skills and existence knowledge We built this community because we know their lots and lots of content and resources available online but there is a lack of guidance So we're decided to make a Community to help folks

What it does

DevStation is a platform where we are providing beginner-friendly documentation of different tech stacks and we are also building a community of developers where they can network and learn things with each other.

How we built it 🧰

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js.

Challenges we ran into 💻

Integrating SAWO LAB API, hosting project, and creating frontend part and blackened part Chat App.

What we learned 📒

Integrating SAWO LAB API, learned how to create documentation page, and also learned socket.io to create chat app

Installation 🛠️

Step 1: Fork the repository. You can fork the repository by clicking on the fork button on the right hand side below the profile.


Step 2: Clone your forked repository. Replace yourusername with your GitHub Username.

git clone "https://github.com/yourusername/DevStation.git"

Step 3 : After cloning the repository. Go to the repository.

cd DevStation

Step 4: Run npm init -y. It will install all the packages and dependencies used in the project.

npm init -y 

Step 5: Install express server.

npm install express

Step 6: Run npm run dev. This will start the project in your local machine 🖥️.

npm run dev 

Step 7 : To run the project in your local machine, you need to go to your local server which is running on port 3000. Go to the browser and paste the link given below 👇:

http://localhost:3000/

Hurray 🥳, you successfully deployed the project in your local machine 🎉.
