To reduce maintenance burden, we should officially document which browsers and WordPress versions are supported. A proposal:

Browser Support

The last two versions of

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Edge
• Safari

Since GlotPress isn't optimized for mobile devices at all I think we shouldn't include any mobile browsers right now. See also policy for WordPress Core.

WordPress Core Support

The current WordPress version, as well as the latest release from the two previous release branches.

This is the same policy used by WooCommerce.

PHP Support

All PHP versions with active security support.

This is something we are already doing per #572 and #1118.
