Let's see whether there is a reaction from rss-sync/Open-Reader-API#13 |

If there's a response from the Open Reader API people, perhaps the API page should be changed as well? Line 13 in e04804d

It doesn't work with Liferea? Admittedly I haven't tried it.

@Frenzie It cannot currently work with Liferea, because Liferea does not have the possibility to type a custom server URL for their services compatible with Google Reader API such as InoReader, Reedah, or The Old Reader. They hardcode the server URL.
See a previous ticket on the matter lwindolf/liferea#172
We should ask them (again) to make an option for generic (e.g. self hosted) services compatible with Google Reader API.
I think the argumentation could be a bit better this time, with the fact that:
- Google Reader API is the de-facto standard
- Liferea already has support for this API
- It would "just" be about adding a field to type the API end-point, using the service they best support between InoReader, Reedah, and The Old Reader
- If there is any remaining incompatibilities, we can address them on FreshRSS side
@Frenzie Would you feel like trying to ask them again?
