Yes, I agree that we should rework the states to make them more visually distinct. Help welcome! Edit: just to be clear: there is a difference at the moment, but too subtle in particular on some screens / conditions |

Thanks. I now notice the background changes shade. I was focussed solely on the icon, so didn't notice the background change! (My web UI skills are even weaker than my PHP skills, so I'm afraid I'll pass on helping, but it looks as though @math-GH is interested.) |

I can't tell by looking at the filter toggle icons (Show read, Show unread, Show favourites, Show non-favourites, etc.) which are currently in force. Is there supposed to be any visual feedback when one of the icons is selected (apart from its possible effect on the list of posts)? I am running Firefox 136 (with a dark theme) on macOS 15.3.1.
