This repository contains a collection of custom Home Assistant Apps (formerly known as Add-ons) maintained by FaserF.

These apps are primarily intended for my own private use. I strive to fix bugs or implement feature requests, but I cannot guarantee it. Apps that I no longer use myself receive poorer support from me.

Edge builds are built locally on your device from the Dockerfile source code. This takes longer and uses more resources than pre-built images. Edge versions may contain bugs or incomplete features.

I maintain all these add-ons in my free time alongside a regular job. Test devices cost money, and every donation helps me stay independent and invest more time into open-source work.
Donations are completely voluntary — but the more support I receive, the less I depend on other income and the more time I can dedicate to these projects.

They are provided "as-is" for archival purposes.
Updates are rare, and functionality is not guaranteed.

This repository adheres to a Platinum Standard for Home Assistant Apps, ensuring robust stability, security, and code quality.
Every app in this repository undergoes extensive CI/CD verification, including:
- Automated Builds: Verified across multiple architectures.
- Security Scanning: Proactive checks with Zizmor and Hadolint.
- Strict Linting: Enforced by App Linter, Actionlint, MarkdownLint, and ShellCheck.
- Code Consistency: Automated formatting via Prettier, Black, and isort.
- Local Verification: Universal testing scripts aimed at reproducible results on any machine.
We strive to provide apps that are not just functional, but also secure, maintainable, and reliable.
To test apps locally and mirror the GitHub Actions CI pipeline, we provide a dedicated PowerShell script. This is the fastest way to verify builds and test run behavior before committing:

Open PowerShell and navigate to the root of this repository.

Run the test script for your specific app:

This script performs full validation, linting, Docker builds, and runs the container to ensure the app functions identically to the automated CI checks.
