This feature does not exists on the latest available release of DistroAV nor in the upcoming PR?

Explain the context or expected use-case of the feature request (problem, new NDI feature, ...)

When opening the plugin with an old/older SDK version the message requires a couple of "manual" steps.

Solution Idea or Feature description

Especially as we push to follow the new NDI SDK Version, a "one-click fix" would be very useful and simplify user-experience.

Also : Display the path or hint at the path of where this was loaded from (can//could be confusing if user have the sdk in multiple valid location OR Tools VS SDK)

Add an entry in the log file as well with the error (425).

Right now, this is missing

debug: Loading module: distroav
warning: Failed to load 'en-GB' text for module: 'distroav'
warning: Failed to initialize module 'distroav'

This would call the one-liner on supported systems.

Not sure if we could "trigger" or open a command line via a button (might not work).

How this feature can benefit the community?

Easier path to update the NDI SDK.

Faster access to new features.
