Issue reported - Current Behavior
As reported by user neoinnovation in Discord:
I have an issue where I'm using 4 cameras running HX3 at 4K60. My system can easily run all 4 in 4 separate OBS instances each with their own camera or with NDI Monitor. However when loading multiple cameras into 1 OBS instance it will stutter even at 2 cameras and 4 is completely unusable. Any idea on how to get it running in 1 OBS instance?
It also runs fine on my M1 Max MacBook Pro. It is my windows 11 computers that have issues.
Expected Behavior
OBS performance should not be affected by multiple NDI sources not being shown.
Steps To Reproduce
To duplicate:
Create 4 scenes with a 4K 60fps NDI source in each.
Change behavior in each source to be "Keep Active".
Start all 4 sources external to OBS so they are sending NDI data.
OBS Will become sluggish and fps rate drops to 1fps
Environment
- OS: Windows 11
- OBS: 32.0.2
- DistroAV: 6.1.1
- NDI: 6.3.0.3
