This PR changes the
raw_configurationtype to useobject_viewunder the hood, tests have also been updated.In a future PR I'll be moving some conversions from
raw_configurationtoobject_converteralthough I need to determine whetherobject_convertershould be allowed to generate exceptions or return optionals instead.
