This is a small experiment that I performed to check what will happen with patches when I generate them using the approach mentioned here. It looks like guilt strips such "redundant" information as well as other patch details. We can question the validity of that behavior, but I assume this is the intended behavior in the Linux kernel.

This PR shows two commits:

  • first consists of patches generated according to the recommended command
  • second show how the patch looks like when we need to fix a given patch and re-include it in the patch queue
