Abstract/Motivation

While the official Cantera documentation lists MinGW as one of the compilers users can use on windows, compilation using MinGW is currently not tested using GitHub actions, where regressions, bugs and/or issues caused by compiler quirks are not caught in time.

Possible Solutions

There appear to be several GH actions that support mingw on the Actions marketplace.
