setting PYTHON_CMD is no longer necessary
Add new dependencies on pytest, libhdf5, and HighFive
Our current style doesn't render definition lists very well, so a bulleted list looks better. ReST doesn't support nested markup without a lot of fiddling, so references to core.h were being rendered incorrectly.
- Update Cantera & Python versions - Describe pre-release installation - Change test command since examples aren't installed anymore
New doc dependency introduced by Cantera/cantera#1581
New requirement introduced in Cantera/cantera#1573. Removes dependency on KaTeX.
The old ones still work, but this saves a redirect

Thanks for looking this over, @ischoegl. I was leaving this in "draft" mode until we merge Cantera/cantera#1599 and tag the release, mainly to make sure that we don't merge it before then. All of the content is "ready for review", though the contents of the release notes especially are subject to change until then. Final updates to the date, PR list, and contributor list in the release notes are all already on my radar, but I'm glad someone else is keeping an eye on these things 👀. |
