Description

Create local symsrv folder so that users can upload to the storage provider of their choice.

TODO BG

  • Lower case everything?
  • Add index.txt to indicate the layout is not two-tiered
  • Add file to indicate PlayStation symbol server
  • Test with PlayStation not compatible, customers should use PlayStation SDK tools instead
  • Test with Windows
  • Test with Breakpad
  • Test with macOS

Breakpad won't work until @daveplunkett finishes his updates to add external symbol servers to the args list passed to minidump_stackwalk. MacOS won't work until https://github.com/BugSplat-Git/src-backend/pull/491 is merged.
