Description
⚠️ Step 1: Required Checks
- I have read the entire README, especially the following sections:
- "System Requirements" (I confirm my build is one of the COMPATIBLE builds:
26100.7019+,26200.7015+or26220.6972+.) - "Screen Dimensions Override for Desktop PCs & Laptops" (I understand the difference between
PhysPanelCS/PhysPanelDrv) - "Quick Start" (I have followed the installation and initial setup steps.)
- I understand this tool is an Enabler / Activation Utility / Configuration Tool and not the implementer of the Full Screen Experience (FSE) feature. I understand FSE itself is a Shell Replacement that replaces the normal Windows desktop/taskbar, and FSE's behavior is not a bug in this tool.
- I have already tried going to the Microsoft Store to update all apps (especially Xbox and Game Bar).
- I have searched the existing Issues to ensure my problem is not already reported.
1. What is your PC Type?
Laptop
PC Model
Lenovo Ideapad Gaming
2. What is your full Windows OS Build number?
26220.7271 (beta channel)
3. Which "Screen Dimensions Override Mode" are you currently using?
N/A (Not Applicable) (My device is a Handheld, or this is not relevant)
4. Which Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool version are you using?
v0.0.15
5. Describe your issue or question:
Since 0.0.15 implements the 'Native' mode, it's forced to be enabled when PC meets all necessary requirements.
However, in my case the 'Native' mode is not working because of how Microsoft's 'A/B' testing works.
I think you should give users ability to make a choice between 'Native' and 'Legacy ICS/Drv' modes for compatibility.
P.S.: Just downgraded to 0.0.14. Works like a charm.
6. Steps to Reproduce (if applicable):
- Windows 11 26220.7271 (beta channel)
- All requirements as 'True'
- Click 'Enable' in the Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool
- Restart PC
- Still disabled in the Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool
7. Expected Behavior:
Expected to be 'Enabled' after 'Enable' button or choosing legacy method
8. Actual Behavior:
Disabled after clicking 'Enable' button when all requirements listed as 'True'
9. Screenshots / Videos / Error Messages / Logs
