How does GIQuIC work?

Information can be entered into GIQuIC in one of two ways, either using an endoscopic health writer (endowriter), or by manual entry. The registry’s real-time reporting functionality allows users to run measure reports immediately after data is uploaded or entered in the registry.

What does GIQuIC measure?

In addition to tracking adenoma detection rate (ADR), GIQuIC calculates a number of other colonoscopy measures, including cecal intubation rate, average withdrawal time, and appropriate follow-up interval. The registry also includes an EGD module with twelve additional measures, and ERCP and IBD modules are currently in the works.
