Code Review: How to Stop Humiliating and Start Teaching
Most seniors think they conduct quality reviews. In reality, they hold a public trial. Microsoft research has shown that reviews are not about bugs, but about understanding and knowledge transfer. Google found that fear stifles initiative. I will analyze how to distinguish a trial from normal engineering practice and what to do so that after reviews, people become stronger, not quieter.
