Speaking Truth to Tyranny!
In October 2025 a change in direction occurred in reference to readings/appearances. A decision was made to distribute copies of Distance to Infinity: Poets are the voice of the people in times of struggle, times of war, times of oppression on the street with a few limited readings. In the area of 200 free copies of the chapbook were distributed on street corners, bus stops in the Philadelphia area. The purpose of the distribution was to reinforce to people who cannot attend protests that they can exercise their rights to free speech. The reception was overwhelmingly positive. This effort was completed between October 7, 2025 and February 6, 2026.
Making America Sad Again – Trump and the Sycophants was initially going to follow up Distance to Infinity but the book was rejected for content, Amazon said, we found content that may mislead customers into thinking they are buying another book, or result in a disappointing customer experience. To be clear there is nothing misleading about the contents or title of the book nor is anyone attempting to trick anyone into thinking they were buying a different book. The book will now be printed at POD Lulu. It is slated for a March 8th release. Prior to its release it was decided to distribute free copies once again on the streets of the Philadelphia area. Once again, the reception was overwhelmingly positive. I received an email from a teacher on a field trip. Someone—I assume mr. reutter himself—handed me a copy of “Making America Sad Again” near Independence Hall. I appreciate what you’re doing. I was leading a field trip with my students, who were also handed some copies. I read it on the bus ride home. Thanks for your dedication!
