GenealogyJ is an application built on Java, which means that you need to install the Java Runtime Environment in order for it to work. So, you need to first download Java Runtime Environment from its official website, then install it on your PC. Next, install the GenealogyJ application and in case it doesn't automatically run select to open it using Java and you should be good to go.
