Fareeha Zafar
Dr.Fareeha Zafar , is from Lahore , Pakistan .She has received PhD in computer Sciences specialization in Mobile Cellular Networks (Telecom) from University of Derby- United Kingdom. She has earned MBA-HRM-UK , M.Phill Comp.Sc - UK , M.Sc Software Engineering , M,Sc Computer Networks and M.Sc Comp Science from Pakistan.
Dr. Fareeha Zafar is Cisco certified holding CCNA, CCIT, C-Voice and CCIE. Dr. F Zafar is member of UNESCO development of projects & planning on WHS in association with UNESCO ICT chair, and UNESCO Scientific Recourse for World Regions
Dr. Fareeha has served as Faculty for Engineering /Telecom & and Business over 20 years among which she taught 5years in UK. Currently she is employed with Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and deputed at Government College University Lahore, Pakistan.She is Harvard Return and has Lead ICT conferences as Conference Chair at Harvard University Boston .
She has been recently appointed as Full professor at Dept of Comp Sc. University of Nigeria, Nussukka, I-e The Largest universty of Africa , and has trained the more than 300+ PhD Faculty members from Comp Sc & Business management & is very well reputed In the Region .She has also been trainer by UNESCO -Head Quarters , France , to conduct Science Training at UNN on Mobile Learning .
Internationally she is consultant & scientist to work with ministries in order to improve their economies using ICT . In addition she is also a specialized Curriculum Revision Resource for developing Academic structure in Africa , Arab & Asian Region
She is In charge of Ph.D ; Department of Computer Science GCU-Lhr, Pakistan, which is oldest & most profound one within Indo-Pak and Renowned for Producing 2 Nobel Laureates, one of which is Dr.Abdus Salam, for which she holds her association with Abdus Salam International Center of Theoretical Physics ( ICTP ),ITALY and has attained more than 22 workshops and been Science Facilitator to World Scientific Community as well .
Dr. Zafar at present , is Research Head for Mobile & Communication Advancements , holding her International Research publication over 162 reputed Journal paper and Books published with Springer.
Dr. F Zafar is supervising 5 Ph.D scholars in Cellular Technology and holds Largest Research group in Pakistan comprising of 192 M.Phil students , which are directly engaged with her perusing their Research in Telecom/Comps .Sc & Business Studies.
A well focused woman to execute Academic Entrepreneurship and has earned numerous credits on her roll.
European Entrepreneur ship Award -2012 : Small scale Software Development for economic Stability of Medium income Academic Groups .
