Descriptive research of survey type was adopted in the study, the population of the study comprises junior and senior secondary school teachers, 400 teachers were randomly selected through a multistage sampling technique. The respondents were teachers from 20 public senior and 20 public junior secondary schools in 3 Senatorial Districts of Oyo State, Nigeria. Four instruments namely Scheduled Syllabus Coverage Questionnaire (r =.73); Teacher Commitment Scale (r =.69); Teacher Self-Efficacy scale (r =.88) and Teacher Motivation Scale (r = 87) were used. Four research questions were raised and answered. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis to determine relationship, composite effect and relative contribution of each variable. The results obtained showed that scheduled syllabus coverage was positively significant correlated between teacher commitment (r = .164; p<.05), teacher self-efficacy (r = .440; p<.05), and teachers motivation (r = .220; p<.05). Also, there was significant composite effect on scheduled syllabus coverage and multiple regression ratio yielded (F(3,396) = 53.593; p<0.05), teacher self-efficacy is the most patent in prediction on scheduled syllabus coverage (β= .460; t= 10.804; P<0.05); followed by (β= .274; t = 6.415; P<0.05) and other. The results obtained revealed that teacher commitment, teacher self-efficacy and teacher motivation contributed to scheduled syllabus coverage. It was recommended that there is need for concerted efforts by stakeholders in education to provide adequate facilities for teachers in order to be committed, interested and motivated to participate fully in school activities.

The study adopt descriptive survey research design, the population consisted of all undergraduate students in University of Ibadan. The study sample consisted of five hundred (500) students selected from the University through convenience sampling techniques. Four standardized instrument were used i.e. openness to experience (r=.91), self-concept (r=.87), life satisfaction (r=.62) and academic resilience (r=.88) and data was analysed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression analysis. The results revealed that there was positive correlation between each componential factors on academic resilience i.e. openness to experience (.802, p<.05); self-concept (.591, p<.05) and life satisfaction (.491, p<.05), also, the joint contribution of the independent variables to the dependent variable was significant and the result yielded a multiple regression (R) of 5.973, R 2 = 35.677 and R 2 (adjusted)= 32.211, moreover, openness to experience (Beta=3.470; t=2.271; p<.05) was the only variable that potent relative contribute to academic resilience followed by self-concept (Beta=1.902; t=2.494; p<.05) then followed by life satisfaction (Beta=0.975; t=3.511; p>.05). It is then recommended that parents, school psychologists and social workers should provide adequate assistance to the undergraduate students in adapting to higher institution environment to aids their learning outcomes.

The study adopted pretest-post quasi-experimental research with 2x2 factorial matrix. Four primary schools were selected randomly from two difference local government areas in Ibadan through multiple sampling technique and one hundred and twelve participants in the game strategy and conventional group were chosen from selected schools. One instrument was used in the study that is pupils attitude mathematics scale (r=.83). The game strategy groups were exposed to two weeks training on number bond game strategy and conventional groups were exposed to ordinary teaching strategy. The results showed a significant main effect of strategy of pupils' attitude towards mathematics (F(1, 106)= 1.516, P<0.05, η 2 = 0.356. There was no significant main effect of gender on pupils' attitude towards mathematics (F(1, 106) = 0.13, p>0.05, η 2 = .061). Therefore, it was recommended that mathematics teachers should teach the subject using number bond game strategy to enhance positive pupils' attitudes towards learning of mathematics and to fostering their performance.
