Terrible application. It takes a minimum of a half an hour to connect your device to it. Sometimes an hour and a half. I cannot explain how many days I spent trying to connect my devices to this thing to update my devices. I wish they would fix it I've had this application for several years and still horrible!
Can't get updates for golf course!! Which is very frustrating as I had them before but since I carried out a more recent update they are now missing!! Very frustrating....
Just purchased a Nuvi 42.
But Garmin Express v3.2.26 won't install on my WinXP sp3 desktop. I spent hours trying all the fixes and gave up.
Then tried installing on backup PC. Installed OK, but then Windows Explorer continually crashed, making the PC unusable. System Restore got rid of the GE, bug ridden software.
Found a copy of the old MapUpdater, which works as it should.
Seriously unimpressed.
Great Program. It would be so much easier if it found the old maps and deleted them. (They are inside a hidden directory called .system.) Then the program would be able to install the map!
