A blog about sustainability and furniture design.
I am a furniture/product designer with academic, tutoring experience and extensive professional record in furniture design, manufacturing practices and entrepreneurship. My main research interests are furniture design and sustainability. How to implement repairability as a means of prolonging furniture lifespan, therefore minimising wastefulness, and all implications of planned obsolescence.
My future plans are to act as an agent of change in the furniture sector and academia: Inform and advise manufacturers, designers, and students on necessary moves towards a successful utilisation of the sustainability agenda, without losing focus on real life practices, scenarios, and needs.
This is a collection of articles, books, opinions and more that evolves along with my research for Sustainability and Furniture Design.
