What does UDRP mean?

Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) is a policy established by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) that provides a mechanism for resolving disputes related to domain names.
UDRP is designed to address cases where a domain name is registered and used in bad faith, infringing upon the rights of trademark owners or causing confusion.
Under the UDRP, trademark owners can file a complaint against a domain name registrant, alleging that the registered domain name is identical or confusingly similar to their trademark. If the complaint is successful, the domain name may be transferred to the trademark owner or canceled.
