What does SynRM mean?

Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM) is a kind of Alternating Current (AC) synchronous motor in which the rotor has no windings or magnets, just electric steel plates stacked together to form a rotor package.
SynRM motors are extremely efficient and have low running temperatures which give higher reliability and low maintenance costs.

Note:
A rotor is a movable part of the motor. A reluctance motor is a type of electric motor that induces non-permanent magnetic poles on the ferromagnetic rotor. The rotor does not have any windings. It generates torque through magnetic reluctance.
