What does Quora mean?

Quora is a question-and-answer website where people can post questions and get answers from its community of users. Quora was co-founded by Adam D'Angelo and Charlie Cheever. They were inspired to create Quora because they thought “Q & A is one of those areas on the internet where there are a lot of sites, but no one had come along and built something that was really good yet.” The name Quora is believed to be originated from the phrase “Question or Answer”.
