What does PMAGY mean?

Prime Minister’s Model Village Scheme (Hindi: प्रधान मंत्री आदर्श ग्राम योजना, Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, PMAGY) is a rural development scheme launched by the Government of India (GoI) for the development of villages having more than 50% Scheduled Caste (SC) population. The aim of PMAGY is to build an "Adarsh Gram" (Model Village) which has adequate physical and institutional infrastructure.
