ODI is used to evaluate the degree of disability caused by spinal disorders, particularly low back pain.
ODI ranges from 0 to 10, and it is typically divided into 5 categories of disability.
A score of 0-20 reflects minimal disability, 21-40 moderate disability, 41-60 severe disability, 61-80 Crippling back pain, and 81-100 bed-bound.

Note:
Oswestry Disability Index is so named because it was first developed in the town of Oswestry, in Shropshire, England, United Kingdom.
