Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), formerly Andhra Pradesh University of Health Sciences, is a public university in the city of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was inaugurated by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), who was then the Chief Minister of the state. Following the death of Rama Rao, a directive was issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to rename the university to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.
