What does Lenovo mean?

Lenovo is a multinational electronics company headquartered in Hong Kong, China. Lenovo was originally called ‘Legend’ when it was founded, but “Legend” is a generic term in English that cannot be trademarked in most countries, so they changed the name “Legend” to “Lenovo”. Lenovo” is a blend of two words, ie “ Le” (from the old name ‘Legend’) and “novo”, Latin word which means “new”. In a sense, Lenovo means The New Legend.
