Kasturba Gandhi Girls School (Hindi: कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका विद्यालय, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, KGBV) is a scheme launched by the Government of India for setting up residential schools for girls belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and other minority communities. KGBV is named in honor of Kasturba Gandhi, the wife of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatama Gandhi).
