What does IP67 mean?

IP in IP67 stands for Ingress Protection or International Protection. IP Code is used to specify the degree of protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. It is published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
IP code is composed of two numbers, the first referring to the protection against solid objects and the second against liquids. The higher the number, the better the protection. 6 in IP67 means Dust-tight and 7 means it is capable of withstanding water immersion up to 1 meter.
