Indira Gandhi Maternity Support Scheme (Hindi: इंदिरा गांधी मातृत्व सहयोग योजना, Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahyog Yojana, IGMSY) is a maternity benefit scheme launched by the Government of India for pregnant and lactating women of 19 years of age or above for first two live births. The goal is to compensate them partly for the wage loss suffered by them during childbirth and childcare and also provide them good nutrition, feeding practices and safe delivery conditions.
