What does I18N mean?

Internationalization (I18N or i18n) is a design process that ensures a product such as a software application can easily be adapted to multiple local languages and regions without the need for redesign. I18N enables a software product to support multiple locales, languages, and regions.

Note:
The “18” in i18n stands for the number of letters between the first “i” and the last “n” in the word internationalization.
