What does GPT-3 mean?

Generative Pre-training Transformer 3 (GPT-3) is a language model developed by OpenAI. It is the third generation of the Generative Pre-training Transformer (GPT) series of language models and is significantly larger and more powerful than its predecessors, GPT and Generative Pre-trained Transformer 2 (GPT-2).
GPT-3 is trained on a dataset of billions of words and is able to generate human-like text in a variety of languages and formats. It has the ability to perform a wide range of language tasks, including translation, summarization, and text generation.
