What does FCEV mean?

Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV), also known as a Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV) or Hydrogen Electric Vehicle (HEV), is an electric vehicle that uses an onboard fuel cell system powered by hydrogen to power it's electric motor instead of drawing it only from a battery.
In FCEV, the fuel cell uses an electrochemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen to convert chemical energy into electrical energy and emit only pure water instead of exhaust gas.
FCEV can generate electricity using oxygen from the air and compressed hydrogen as long as the fuel is supplied. The refueling time of FCEV is almost the same as the refueling time of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles.
