BTS, also known as the BangTan Boys, is a seven-member boy band from Seoul, South Korea. The members of BTS are RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
BTS is short for the Korean expression BangTan Sonyeondan (Korean: 방탄소년단), meaning Bulletproof Boy Scouts. In 2017, BTS announced that their name would also stand for "Beyond The Scene" as part of their new brand identity. The fans of BTS across the world are called ARMY, which stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth.
