What it does
The ReconHD is a portable water treatment solution for hydrodemolition concrete removal. It uses the latest wastewater plant technology to efficiently monitor and treat the slurry water produced from hydrodemolition equipment. The system will provide clarified water that is pH neutral for disposal or reuse in your equipment. This fully automated system provides the most efficient and highest flowing solution for hydrodemolition projects—up to 120 gpm flow can be processed and all data points are logged for peace of mind. Available in two models.
How it works
Water enters the system through a 3” stainless steel camlock connection, where flow and turbidity are monitored in real-time, allowing the ReconHD to adjust to the water quality, reducing the need for skilled operators. A coagulant is injected and mixed with carbon dioxide to neutralize the pH and aid settling, followed by a flocculant to enhance particle size and speed up settling in the tube clarifier. After 99% of solids are removed, the clarified water undergoes pH polishing before being discharged or reused in a closed-loop system. Sludge is automatically pumped to a dewatering bag, and jobsite data is logged for water usage and discharge documentation.
