The diesel engine consumes generally less fuel and therefore emits less carbon dioxide (CO2) than a gasoline engine of the same power.
But it emits tiny particulate matter (PM) also called particle pollution we used to know as black smoke from the exhaust pipe, which is critically harmful to humans.
A specially developed model range for different diesel fuel consumption volumes reduces PM emission by 90%, thus significantly prolonging catalytic converter and EGR valve resources. Furthermore reducing fuel consumption by up to 20% due to the complete combustion of fuel in the engine cylinders, regardless of mileage and engine condition!
