Frost Valley Fall Fest

Celebrate the vibrant colors of early October with a day full of outdoor fun for all ages. Enjoy live music, delicious seasonal food and drinks, hands-on kids’ activities, and a bustling marketplace featuring local artisans and vendors. This family-friendly event is the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of fall while experiencing all that Frost Valley has to offer—and so much more.

Halloween Community Day

October 31, 2026

Join us for a day filled with fun and exciting fall activities and an evening of spooktacular Halloween games and haunted trails! Fall Activities: 9 am-4:45 pm, Haunted Trails & Halloween Games: 7-10 pm. This event is FREE and includes all scheduled program activities.

Community Holiday Dinner & Gathering

December 11, 2026 • 5:30-8 pm

We welcome local families and friends to join us for a delicious holiday dinner, accompanied by festive activities and crafts your whole family will enjoy. Join us for this FREE event in the Thomas Lodge Dining Hall from 5:30-8:00 p.m. for family fun!

Polar Plunge in Lake Cole

January 1st • 9:15-10:45 am

Ring in the New Year with a splash! Join us for the Polar Plunge in Lake Cole, a beloved camp tradition that is open and FREE to the entire community. No registration is required; however, you will need to check in at our Welcome Center before taking the plunge. The event begins at 9:15 a.m. and offers a fun and refreshing way to kick off the year with friends, family, and fellow brave souls. Warm beverages will be waiting to help everyone warm up after the plunge.

*If you would like to stay after the plunge and join our scheduled program activities, you will have to purchase a day pass, which includes access to our grounds and all activities from 9 am to 10 pm, including all meals.

FREE Valentine’s Day Community Event

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with friends, family, and neighbors at East Valley Ranch! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of games, crafts, snacks, and raffles in a warm, welcoming community setting. Whether you come to create something special, enjoy playful activities, or just spend time together, this FREE event is all about connection, creativity, and sharing the love. Perfect for families looking for a festive way to spend the afternoon.

Healthy Kids Day

Join us for Healthy Kids Day! Kids and families will climb, crawl, balance, jump, and problem-solve their way through a playful obstacle course designed to get bodies moving and confidence roaring. This action-packed afternoon encourages teamwork, perseverance, and healthy movement—all while having a blast outdoors.

This event supports Frost Valley programs that connect kids and families to the outdoors, healthy living, and community. All ages welcome, no race or obstacle experience needed—just come ready to try, move, and have fun! This event is FREE for children ages 13 and under, and only $5 for ages 14+.

Mother’s Day Tea

Celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, and special caregivers in your life with a relaxed spring afternoon at East Valley Ranch. Join us for a FREE community Mother’s Day Tea surrounded by the spring beauty of the Catskills.

Guests will enjoy a classic tea gathering with a selection of teas and sweet treats, along with hands-on activities designed for all ages. Spend time creating simple crafts together, play lawn games, and slow down for meaningful time with the people you love.
Pony rides will be available for children for a small donation, with proceeds supporting our youth programs and helping more campers experience East Valley Ranch.

Whether you come dressed up for tea or just ready to enjoy a peaceful afternoon outdoors, this is a chance to celebrate connection, gratitude, and community.

All are welcome — daughters, sons, dads, grandparents, and friends too. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Day Guest Visit Fees

Denning Residents can come for FREE!
Includes immediate family and grandchildren. Must show proof of residency i.e. electric bill, license, etc.

Full Day Visits: $65
Includes access to our grounds and all scheduled program activities from 9 am to 10 pm, including all meals any Saturday (and Sundays during 3-day holiday weekends).

Half Day Visits: $45
Includes access to our grounds, program activities, and 1 meal (lunch or dinner) any Saturday from 12 to 10 pm or Sunday from 8:30 am to 12 pm (applicable for Sundays from 12 – 10 pm during 3-day holiday weekends).

Try Disc Golf on a Renowned Catskill Course!

Frost Valley’s disc golf course, designed by John Houck of HouckDesign is a unique layout that accommodates players of virtually any ability, from children with disabilities to lifelong, expert disc golfers. The course is available most days from April through November from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The course is closed during inclement weather (snow) and for eight weeks during our summer camp programs. Please call in advance to ensure that the course is open: 845-985-2291. Guests can check in at the Welcome Center and purchase a Day Pass to utilize the course. Golfers are welcome to bring their own discs or check out discs at the Welcome Center for a refundable deposit. When you purchase a Day Pass, your receipt can be used towards a membership fee should you choose to become an Outdoor Sporting Member. Learn More
